I booked a room on line and was greatly disappointed when I drove in and saw that it looked nothing like the picture on line. It is an older hotel that was not kept up very well. When I called the gentleman I was working with and told him where I was staying I was told not to stay there as they've had problems with it in the past. Needless to say I had booked online and was able to receive a refund for the prepaid room ($873.93). I tried calling the manager several times and he was never and and never called me back. I went to corporate Travelodge and they told me that since I booked on line that they could not refund the money. So not only was I out $873.93 but I also had to pay for a different hotel. I'll never again book online and nor will I ever stay at a Travelodge.

We loved the location...right off the highway and close to many stores and dining options. The cont. breakfast was a little skimpy, but for $40 a night you can't really complain. Also there's a McDonald's directly across the street and we had breakfast there. My only real complaint was that we picked this hotel because of it's price, location, AND the fact that it had laundry facilities. By this point in our trip we knew that we'd have to do laundry. The manager could not get the laundry room unlocked.Good luck finding a laundrymat in Dalton!

Stayed at this Travelodge in early December. It is a very nice economical place to stay and conveniently located right off the interstate. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable.

The best thing was the after stay service !!!!! I left behind my day planner but at the time was not sure where it had been left. I called and they told me they had it. They were very helpful in getting it back to me.

So if you are looking for a very clean and inexpensive place to stay in Northern GA I would highly recomend this place.

For the price, this place is a find. While it is an older place and could use a facelift, especially in the bathroom, it is very clean and well maintained.
The front desk people are friendly and professional. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our only disappointment was that the pillows were flat and old. When I mentioned it to the girl in the morning she said that people trade their old pillows for the hotel's and that they had replaced all the pillows only a month before. The continental breakfast was fine. There were waffles, bagels, muffins, dry cereal, juices
and coffee. The overall impression of the place is fine southern hospitality. We will definitely add this as a regular stop on our annual trip from the north to the south.
