My wife and I stayed one night here on a road trip, we pulled in late, was able to get a decent room and were quite happy with the accommodations. We stay at lots of Country Inns because in general they provide a nice room for the the price. We were not disappointed by this hotel. The check in was fast and well managed, the bed was good and the bathroom was clean. They offered the standard breakfast fair we would have expected and then we were on our way. Would recommend this hotel if you need a good, clean affordable place to stay in this area.

My husband and I spent one night in a suite as this nice hotel. It has a "lodge look" in the common rooms, and rocking chairs on the front porch. Everything was very clean, except the carpets in the hall-they were definitely due to be cleaned. Our suite was perfect for us-it was a big college football day and there were 2 flat screen TVs-one in the living area, and one in the bedroom. We both were able to watch the game, except I was able to watch it until I fell asleep in the bedroom! The bedroom is separated from the rest of the living area by a door. The bathroom was very clean. No complaints at all about the room, except the carpet outside the bathroom had some "ripples" in it. Coffee, tea, homebaked cookies, and fruit were always available in the lobby. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, but unremarkable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were only in town for the weekend so we wanted to make the most of our time there with our family to visit a near by GA State Park. Michelle, the manager, was most welcoming to us and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful to us and made our stay a delight. The hotel & our suite were clean. The breakfast was great and we really loved the free cookies that were available thru out the day.

Wow, were do I begin...Let me start off with the people. I have never felt more WELCOME at a hotel then the way these people made me feel. From the Manager, Desk clerks to the housekeepers and maintenance, they all made me feel so welcome, never a bother and would go out of there way to do anything I needed!! I almost felt like I was at home. Their attitudes created an atmosphere that just felt like you were home. They even treated my children as if they were a pleasure to have there. Now let me tell you about some of the small stuff that just meant the world to me. Coffee!! They didn't just have coffee, they had gourmet coffee and bold coffee and decaf coffee, and not just in the morning they had it available ALL day!! Which is wonderful for me, because I love to have my 4:00 afternoon coffee. This gets even better they had FLAVORED CREAMER! Woohoo! That made me so happy! They had a wonderful breakfast, much more than the other hotels offer and did I mention that the lady that fixed the breakfast was so friendly and didn't rush you or try to shove you out the minute the breakfast was suppose to be over. She was great! This hotel has an indoor pool, which I loved because you didn't have to worry about it being too cold to swim and no sunscreen for the kids needed. But this also gets better, they have a office room set up with computers for you to use anytime and there is a glass wall separating the office from the pool. Sooooo I could sit and check my emails while watching the kids swim. Perfect! there is also a full gym which also has the glass walls and you could workout while watching your children swim. I personally loved the front porch with rocking chairs, I sat out there and enjoyed the beautiful weather they have in Dalton. Oh I almost forgot to mention that they have a library of books for adults and children that you can take and read while your staying there or you can take it home with you and when you finish reading it return it to any Country Inn and suites. How cool is that! I loved sitting on the comfy couch in the lobby and reading. I know I am forgetting to mention something, but I can't stress enough how fantastic our stay was! And it was all because of where we stayed and the people. Oh I almost forgot to tell you about the rooms...they were super clean, over roomy and the beds were like heaven, super comfortable and the bedding was amazing! Once again everything was wonderful, but I think that the people there really made it. They just were so friendly and I stayed there for quite awhile, so I think I met just about every person that worked there and every one with out any exception was overly friendly and welcoming!!!! I would suggest this hotel to anyone!! I have never stayed at any hotel that even remotely compares to this one. And I have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years!
