I attended a wedding weekend at this location and was very disappointed in the accomandations. The overall property and area was scenic. I stayed in the "wing" of the house, not a cabin.
My "king size" bed seemed quite short with my feet hanging off the end of the bed while my head pressed to the head-board, and I am only 6' tall. The "king bed" was actually two non-matching mattresses, which caused a large seam in the middle, pushed together. Very uncomfortable. As this was billed as a "Spa Resort" we all paid premimum prices and there did not seem to be any "Spa" services available. However this was a pre-arranged price, which had all rooms and cabins charged the same rate.
The room I had also had "paper-thin" walls with no privacy and seemed to have plumbing issues.
I also visited in a cabin and the two beds there had approximately 1" bolts loose from the walls and extending onto the bed. Safety hazard.
The Sunday brunch was delicious. However the remainder of the food services were not available. Not even a drink machine or ice machine available. Not to mention, no TV or phones or radios. WiFi was available, probably the most favorable part of the stay. Disappointing.
The front porch was nice to sit in the morings for coffee, but was the only time coffee available. Not even an in-room coffee maker or mini fridge.
Based on my recent stay, I would not recommend this property unless you only need an uncomfortable bed to lie in at the end of the night.
