It's South Georgia in the summer - It's hot. I checked in after 7pm, but had guaranteed the room. I got to the room and it must have been 90 degrees in there.....It took until 11pm before it was comfortable enough to sleep. Call ahead and make sure they turn the AC on. WHY WHY WHY would you not at least put it on low......?????

Room was okay......i did not dare put a black light on the bead spread or sheets.....what I did not know would not hurt me, i guess

We stayed at the this hotel 11 years ago when they first open up. So we figure staying there now shouldn't be too bad. We were wrong the place is a dump! I don't think they've cleaned the rooms since they opened up. Don't stay here it's worth the drive to stay in Albany which is 45 minutes away.

The bathtub in the room where I stayed was filthy. I looked as though it had not been cleaned in a while. There was hair all in the tub and scum on the faucet and around the tub. I ended up washing up in the sink because I was scared to try to clean the tub out even to take a shower. It was terrible. On a positive note I was able to access the internet on my laptop pretty well.

I first stopped in Columbus, Ga and took a room at Columbus Days Inn South, I left after about fifteen minutes vowing to never stay at a Days Inn again. Back on the road, I got so tired I had to stop in Cuthbert, Ga and guess what the only hotel I saw from the highway was a Days Inn. I thought here I go again. But what a pleasant surprise. The lobby was clean and well kept, the front desk attendant was nice and accommodating. The room was clean. The TV worked perfectly and included HBO. The housekeeper was friendly and so very nice. There was a 24 hour Huddle House right next door with some of the best food I have ever ate. I saw a sign in front of the Days Inn that an InLand Travel Center was coming soon. That would have made my stay in Cuthbert perfect. But what a nice little town, with a Popeye's Fried Chicken Restaurant in town and some local food places that kept me eating good. Thank you Cuthbert, you saved me. I enjoyed my stay.
