“Good Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Was in town on business and found this property to be a good place to stay. Road in front of motel is under construction, but I arrived on Sunday for one night so they were shut down for the weekend and I left really early before they started up on Monday. Thhe room was clean, no smells, good desk with good lighting. Room was large enough to be comfortable. Good water pressure and everything worked well.

“Crawling Cockroaches and we left ASAP”

I was driving with my two kids with me and we're heading to Atlanta, Georgia and it was getting late so we stopped to this quality inn and we checked in and went to the room, one of my kid was sleep so i lay him down to the bed. all of sudden my other kid was screamming loud because there's roaches crawling on the wall, so i called the front desk and told him to gave me a refund because we don't want to stay there but he said that he will transfer me to another room and i told him i don't think so, he said tommorow he will call a pest control. I hope he did.

“Small motel, loud heater, broken swing lock”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2011

I arrived after dark and the Quality Inn was a little difficult to find. There is road construction in front of the motel and the Quality Inn sign was not lit so it was hard to see the entrance. This is a small, little hotel, the front desk lady was friendly and I was quickly into Room 122. The heater was really noisy and the room was worn, but otherwise seemed fine. There is a refrigerator and microwave and cable TV with about 75 channels. Wireless internet was easy to use and very fast. The recliner was comfortable. The sink counter was large and had plenty of room for your stuff, and there was a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker, but I didn’t use any of them. The swing style door lock was broken.
Due to the loud heater I did not sleep very well. They had breakfast set up the next morning, there wasn’t much food, but there were also only 3-4 cars in the parking lot so they probably didn’t want to see anything wasted with so few guests. The price was reasonable at $44 plus a reasonable 12% tax.
There is a Wendy’s across the street and very easy access to the interstate.
I don’t think I would stay here again due to the loud heating unit and broken swing lock.

“Needs serious work”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2010

This hotel is old and it shows. The paint on the doors is peeling off. The rooms are very old and the furniture is falling apart. The tv was old and had bad reception. The linens are ugly and have burn holes in the spreads. Our room was clean but there were stains on the chair in the room. The air was really loud and we had to move rooms twice just to get a quiet room. The bathrooms were fine but it's just an old hotel. The lobby was fine and the breakfast was okay, but not great. What really grossed me out was going to the lobby and seeing the desk girl putting uneaten food like sausage in containers. Aren't they supposed to throw it away? I hope its not being re-served. The computer in the lobby was super slow and had no printer. The girl at the desk was nice enough but had no idea what she was doing and had to keep calling her manager to get help which made check in take forever. Lots of road work in front of the hotel made it impossible to get out of. We wanted to use the fitness center but it's behind the pool and we didn't want to walk outside and all the way across the parking lot to get in, plus the heater wasn't on so it was freezing inside when we looked at it. This place is a decent budget motel...I wouldn't call it a hotel. All the rooms are outside and there are only 2 floors. There is no management on site so nothing can get resolved to our satisfaction and the girl didn't know how to give us a refund. We left as soon as we could get up the next day. The only other hotel on the road is more expensive but I think next time I'll stay there, despite the cost. You get what you pay for and here you're getting bottom line quality. It needs serious work and more experienced desk people. For the price, it's a great place if you don't expect any kind of new accomodations or amenities. Also there were lots of men around, lots of trucks in the parking lot which made me a little uncomfortable. Oh, and the ice machine is on the first floor outside which made for a super cold walk from the 2nd floor when I wanted ice. I will definitely stay at another location next time. I can't recommend this place, unfortunately.
