Rooms were well decorated but two of the pillowcases had stains on them. Difficult to get a tolerable temp in the shower. Some kind of cleaning substance was left on the bathroom floor that made it really slippery. There is no hot tub anymore;,pool was nice and warm but had some bugs floating in it. A few workout machines that seemed decent. Breakfast was really good--plenty of options and very friendly service. Front desk staff was really friendly. Can't really complain about our stay bc of the price but if we come again will probably spend a few more dollars to stay at the Hampton Inn next door.

My husband and I checked in for an overnight stay just to get away. We should have definitely stayed elsewhere. The hot tub was broken, and the pool was extremely hot. We stayed in a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke. When we left the next day we had absorbed the smoke smell. The front desk employees were always right by the door smoking. The toilet in our room would not flush without holding down the handle. *Spoke to front desk and was told there was nothing wrong but low water pressure.* Check-out was at 11:00 AM, we were woken at 9:30 AM by a maid letting herself into our room. There was no courtesy knock she just walked right in. She didn't even apologize upon leaving. *Spoke with front desk about this on check-out and was told that they have told the maids to wait until after 11 to go in the rooms.* That answer is a little concerning to me. Apparently they cannot make their staff respect guest privacy. Had we not gotten a low rate because of my husband's job, we would have demanded credit back. It was not at all what we had planned. I would stay away.

We were going to Helen, GA to see the sights. We didn't realize that it was the middle of Oktoberfest! We chose this hotel because it was affordable but reasonably close. The front desk staff were helpful and informed us of where to go and what to see and do. The room and other features were exactly as they appeared online. To top it all off, there was a REAL breakfast! Not just cereal, but eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy! Our stay was very restful. After hiking through the woods, horseriding, and seeing the scenery we were able to come back, check our e-mail,and then relax in the whirlpool tub in our room. The hotel was very quiet which was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle that we experienced in Helen. For the price and location we could not have found a better deal.

Nice hotel, great beds, clean room and nice indoor pool-hot tub was not working when we were there. Central location makes getting around and seeing the sights in North Georgia easy. Good breakfast included in room charge. Got a very good rate even in the middle of peak leaf changing season.
