This is an independently owned Travelodge and it needs updating really bad. Granted, it IS $42 nightly and it IS close to the highway BUT it is basically in the middle of nowhere. The staff were friendly enough but I could definitely see where housekeeping could be better. WiFi IS free albeit a weak signal, and you need a password(at the front desk). We stayed for 3 nights while our car was repaired and while we were lucky to coast into its parking lot in the middle of the night, I definitely was happy to be on our way. It's one saving grace was the mattress BUT they had no fitted sheets. There's no pool. You can walk to McDonald's, hardees, Wendy's & zaxbys.

for one of those nights where you have driven as far as can and need a place to crash this is a great choice - very clean and newly renovated rooms but still less then $45 - still the thin towels and no fitted sheets - but for a side of the hwy place not bad - left too early for the breakfast but sure it is not much

We did not expect much for $43. We were on our way to Orlando and this Cordele was half way there. It was a liittle unerving when we pulled in and there were quite a few construction trucks there. They obviously do extended stay rentals, too.

We asked the clerk about noise and she assured us that the workers were in one section and the "travelers" were in another as was the case. Room clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. You are not getting luxury--but you are not paying for it either.

Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here one night on our way to Miami to board a cruise. We called in while on the road a couple hours out, and they held our room for us. The staff was great--friendly and helpful. The room was nothing fancy. We don't enjoy paying for "fancy." It was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.
