I stay in this hotel once a year and it has progressively gotten better. Vast improvements have been made over the years from carpet, paint, fixtures, televisions, beds etc. Holiday Inn has been working hard on this hotel. a good nights stay at a good price. I would recommend this hotel for stays in Columbus. Keep a close eye out, I am in the group photo that hangs in the lobby with the Sixth Special Forces Run. This Holiday Inn really support the troops and i commend them for their support.

My husband booked this room for a race near Ft. Benning, which was a quick 15 minute drive away. So location was great, right off the highway, and within perfect distance to the base. We traveled all day, and didn't arrive for check in until 11pm. We were exhausted and the front desk person, while friendly was painfully slow. We also had all our luggage with us, only to be told we had to pack it back in the car and drive to our room. The hotel was older, and the tooms had the appearance of a recent refurbishing, but the contractors didn't do a great job. Our shower drain clogged while showering whcih totally skeeved me out. I didn't know what the hell was causing the clog and I knew it wasn't my own hair! Eww! The shower head was also not firmly attached to the wall, and you could smell the chlorine in the treated water. The bed was comfortable, and for the 5 hours of sleep we got, I was glad that it was comfy, but soft. So for those of you who like firm beds, you might not be too thrilled. My husband said to try Holiday Inn express, he finds them to be better, newer construction.

We stayed here when we moved here to GA. Not too bad. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Beds were VERY comfortable! Loved them! Staff was friendly and helpful! The floors were a bit outdated and need to be redone, but overall nothing really bad to say about it. We were here for 5 days and didn't have any problems.

this hotel is old ,nasty ,and filthy !!! Our room had hair (from someone else ) all on pillows. Thank god I travel with my own linings. Woke up to a spider crawling(total nightmare) lamp shades had unknowingly stains on it . My husband thought something was crawling on him and he is a very laid back . He doesn't complaint but this case he fully agree this room was beyond nasty . I am NOT going speak on the bathroom. I rather use public restaurant than the hotel . We told front desk she told me she is busy and do not have time to figure out our problem . Please try your luck somewhere else !!!!! With my own linings on the bed and spread with anti- bacteria ,and RAID I was still freaking out . No no no no no no
