I came to this hotel during the annual SOA protest 2011 and there were previous arrangements through and organization so several participants, organizers and musicians could stay at this motel.
After driving for more than 15 hours from Chicago, I arrived with a group of nine people around 4:00am on Saturday. The desk person was a jerk and simply gave us the worst welcoming ever. While others had only to show an ID and credit card per reservation, he made all my group show IDs and just took his sweet time to get through the check in. The time I took to coordinate with organizers and call and reserve rooms in advance in the end was a waste of time because this person questioned me soooooo much that I can say he was acting more like a police officer than his job. We ended up going to our rooms until 5am. He had the worst attitude I've ever seen.
Then when we came in our rooms we rapidly noticed the stinking odor and the super dirty carpet, and in one of our rooms the TV didn't even work. All furniture in general was in bad shape.
I could brag about every single thing I didn't like, but just with the treatment I got from the desk person and the stinky rooms I simply will never come again.
