I stayed here for the 1st time in sept of 2008 for 4 nights. As I was a frequant stayer of Marriott this hotel experience was nice. The Managers name was Tom at the time. In March of 2010 my mother passed away. I had just returned from overseas duty. I called the Hotel on March 18th, 2010. I asked for Tom they told me that he was no longer there. The new Manager was Julie Paden. I talked to her the next morning and explain the situation and also that I did not get paid again till april 1st. She said no problem come on down and she would just hold my debit card and then run it on the 1st. Per our argreement I checked in on Sat march,20th. I had the funeral on Friday the 26th and was checking out on Sat 27th. On that Friday the 26th I talked to the manager ( Julie ) and she said I hope you come see us again. We will run you card on the 1st. I thanked her. Later that night they had a bunch of young teenagers at the hotel for a ball tournament. I had them knocking on my door ect. I had a flight out at 6:30am. So I left the hotel and checked in at the hotel across the street so I could get a little sleep before my flight home. About 4am I got woke up to someone knocking on my door. To my suprise it was 3 police officers. So I opened the door, they informed me that the Manager ( Julie Paden ) had called and filed charges on me for not paying for my room. Totally going against our verbal agreement. Thanks to this great Manager ( Julie Paden ) I was almost discharged from the service, my wife left me and took the kids.. This is some great Marriott isnt it. So my advise to everyone is this: If you want a good hotel experience and dont want the Manager to have you arrested stay as far away from this place as possible. I do have a pending lawsuit against this hotel and Marriott hotels, inc. TERRIBLE MANAGER ( JULIE PADEN )!!!!
