We pulled into the parking lot and there was not another car in sight. We thought they were closed as it was 5:30. Turns out there are just not many people traveling this day and our fears were completely unfounded.
We chose this chain to utilize points that were going to expire at years end, and we were quite satisfied with the quality of our room and the service. We made our reservations over the net and everything was as it should have been when we arrived. The reservation clerk, whose name may have been Mandy, was extremely personable and helpfull with local information. The room was a little on the small side, but adequate. It was clean and well furnished. This is not the Ritz, but the accomodations are good for the price paid. Bedding is good for the most part and the mattresses are comfortable.
Now for my big complaint with this chain;
THEIR PILLOWS ARE TERRIBLE!
I have complained about this with every level of management that I can contact and have written it up repeatedly on survey forms, but it never changes. They are unquestionably the WORST of any chain in the country. You can quite honestly, take their pillow and wad it up into a ball not much bigger than a softball. We usually carry our own pillows when we are staying at a choice motel, but space did not allow that luxury on this trip.
All in all a good stay and we would stay here again.......with our own pillows.
