The pros:

This place smells really awful, about every 10 feet is a different unpleasant smell. I know this is a pet friendly hotel, but seriously, I preferred when hotels allowed smoking to this.
The linens were stained
The furnishings were really past their prime
Every room seemed to be having one problem or another
No trash cans anywhere but under the kitchen sink
Things just don't work right. We had two rooms, the first was locked so that the manager was having to plot to get in through the window to get it open, and the second requires you to swipe the key both to open AND close it. Huh?
It's noisy. Both street noise and other guests.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast and evening snacks were delicious. The staff was friendly, and the location felt safe. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The fitness area was small and limited to cardio, but adequate.

I can say a million great things about the staff at this place!! Upon arrival, there was an issue with checking in...which actually turned out in our favor. Rather than having the 2 bedroom suite that we reserved...they had to split us into 2 seperate 1 bedroom suites, which was just fine with us. The made the appropriate price adjustments without being asked. As we waited to check in, a staff memeber asked if we had eaten yet, which we had not. He was quick to get us inside for the "happy hour" snacks and drinks. Traveling with 5 children, I sat them all at a table, and went to get snacks. Before I could get back to the table, the gentelmen was already serving all of the children lemonade and chips, and changing the television to the Disney channel!

We were able to bring food and drinks poolside to have a "family" picnic and spend the entire day relaxing! Traveling to visit a family member who was graduation basic training, we wanted to be able to enjoy time with him.

The rooms were great, the kids had enough room to spread out, and we were all able to rest. The beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean!

The hotel is located in the midst of every and any store/shop/restaraunt you could need! Walmart, Starbucks, RedLobster, TGIFridays, KrispyCreme, Ben & Jerry's, Chilis, Kohls, Winn Dixie!!!

I am returning to GA again in a month and will definately be staying here again.

We liked, the location to stores and restaurants is exceptional. The hotel staff is very competent and nice. The major issue with this property is sleep and privacy. The walls room to room are paper thin. So you here activity in the rooms around you. (reminds me of college dorm). They have a courtyard and pool area that is very loud and rocks until late (in our case almost midnight). If you expect to go to bed early, and your room is on the courtyard side of the building - forget it or bring ear plugs with superglue. I am not sure if it would be better on the other side - probably..
