Just stopped by late one night, while revisiting our hometown, to check the rate. Was pleased with the rate and the appearance of building, especially since there is a Super 8 next door that looks worse and had the same rate. Night staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated his honesty when I asked if their wi-fi was good in signal strength. He told me that it sometimes lacked, but, was generally well and that I could even use the signal from the Super 8.
We had two rooms with two beds. Our rooms were more than adequate. They were clean and nicely decorated. The A/C worked very well. The beds, doubles, were comfortable. Room well furnished with a desk, four door dresser, HD television, nice office chair, nice single chair, and a nice wall shelf between the beds. Wi-fi was excellent too. The only draw back I had with the room was the situation present with the entrance door and the nice single sink vanity. If a person is standing at the sink, the door opening will require that person to move aside. Other than that, this room was satisfactory for me. There is a light breakfast offered every morning. It includes self made waffles and located in a very nice area across from the front desk.

We have stayed at La Quinta's before, and always thought they were nice. This one is an old building and fairly rundown. The owners have added some updates, but they are all cosmetic (curtains, pictures on the wall, etc) The bathroom fixtures are still old as is some of the floor covering (at least in the room we stayed in). The area where the hotel is located is not a nice part of town. I have to say the room seemed very clean and the staff were friendly. We chose this hotel chain because they are dog-friendly. As some other reviewers mentioned, I was also concerned about some of the people I saw hanging around the front lobby and outside. I would not choose this La Quinta again.

Stayed at the La Quinta in Georgia for a weekend stay with our two dogs. Have no complaints. Room was VERY clean and updated with a modern decor. Not noisy at all like I had expected. Never had a chance to check out the continental breakfast because up to early for the competition but the coffee was good. Front desks folks a pretty nice but wish they had a more flexible late check out policy other than half of rent for an extra two hours. Oh well... Will stay here again if in the area!

We stayed here for a house hunting trip in the area, and this hotel was nearly perfect! Our room was bright, airy, spacious and modern and felt really, really clean! I felt very comfortable here and it made a great home base for our trip. The shower was lovely too with great water pressure and nice hot water.

On top of this, this hotel is very pet friendly. We are traveling with our two dogs -- one is medium and the other is large. On our way here, we encountered all kinds of problems with other hotels that were supposedly pet friendly but only allow small dogs and have all kinds of rules. This hotel actually does welcome pets!

One negative, which could be a big deal for a business traveler, though, is that the free wireless was very spotty. The signal constantly went in and out and it became very annoying after a while. My husband called down to ask if they had an ethernet cord, but they did not. If they get this problem fixed, the hotel would be fantastic!
