I booked this hotel through priceline. You would think what since it is a national chain it would be a nicer hotel. We arrived around 12:30 am and since the room were greeted by a locked office door with instructions to ring the bell. The manager arrived from the back room rubbing sleep from his eyes and didn't quite wake up while we were registering. When asked if they had cots (as we had 3 teenagers with us) he acted like I had asked for an additional room free. He did accomodate us with an extra blanket and a couple sheets. We ended up going to walmart which was quite close by and purchasing an air mattress. The breakfast was pitiful...a couple bagels and cheap glazed donuts with cream cheese in a large tub sitting on the counter, not even chilled. Overall...I wouldn't stay here again.

Pretty okay motel. Found a great deal online. Didn't like the bright lights shining into my room around the curtains. Other than that I had no problems.

Upon check in we surveyed the rooms. We asked for a room on the first floor due to health issues and the manager seemed put out that we would even ask, The rooms smelled and were dirty. There was a dead squished bug on the wall. A used needle was outside the manager's office. The pool had bugs swimming in it and there were people with small dogs going in and out of their rooms. We found another hotel, but the manager charged us for the night (we had planned to stay two nights). We have family in Clayton but will never stay here again, I will sleep in the car first!!!

We checked in and then did a room check for problems, seemed fine so we went to dinner and came back to relax. Discovered a bug infestation and immediately packed up and checked out. We did get a full refund but had to drive for another hour and 1/2 before finding another hotel room since all other hotels in the area were full due to it being fall leaf season.
