As I said in my first review of this hotel, it has the potential to be excellent. Though I continue to stay here for the convenience, it still doesn't measure up to being more than average. Thankfully, they completed the renovation that seemed to drag on for month after month. But, it's the little things (or maybe they aren't so little) that make a stay here a bit frustrating. The front desk staff are great, but the housekeeping staff seems to constantly screw up (like leaving yesterday's washcloth in the tub on this visit). The internet always has a weak signal and I'm convinced that it's nothing more than an insufficient number of routers and poor placement of them. The guest computer in the lobby is outdated and running an old version of IE. The TV gets the least number of stations I've ever seen in a hotel located in a metro area. And the showers have those annoying water saver heads that make rinsing off a challenge (where do you save water if you end up standing in the shower longer?). I will say that the breakfast buffet isn't bad and has a decent array of items. The beds are reasonably comfortable, but they give you 4 puny pillows rather than 2 nice big ones. Lastly, the elevators are slowwwwwww, so getting a room on the first floor is adviseable.
I can't give this hotel more than an average rating. I wouldn't say "don't stay here." However, if you have good options, they're worth exploring.
