We arrived at this hotel around 10:55pm. The desk clerk informed us that the room had no towels and wash cloths as she had given them to another guest. This should have been our first clue to ask for a refund and leave. The security guard did bring us linens however they were thin and stained. Upon turning on the lights, we saw roaches on the walls and on the night stand between the beds. We immediately picked up our luggage, left the room and asked for a refund. Do not stay at this Days Inn! It is dirty, paint is peeling and the room had a strange odor besides the bugs crawling around!

I spent two nights at this dump with my wife and daughter. For starters, they have absoluetly no breakfast of and kind. I thought this was very cheap; even other dumpy hotels serve you stale donuts and coffee. Upon checking in, we saw the rug was filty and the drapes were torn.The bathroom door jam door was all rotted at the bottom. The ceiling looked like it has some stain on it. We awoke every morning to the sounds of diesel trucks making deliveries at the I-HOP located 60 feet from out room. That is the only good thing I can think about this hotel; there were 3-4 restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. Otherwise find another place to stay, this place really sucks..................

We should have known better than to stay at this place. When my husband went to check in.. The clerk didn't have a pen, I guess a customer had walked off with it. He went to the car to get one for her to use. The room was full of problems. 1) The lights didn't turn on when we arrived in the evening in our room. 2) There was exposed wiring to the lamp cord which was actually nearly at ceiling level. (A child would have found it very enticing and could have gotten very hurt) 3) The remote control for the TV didn't work, so being dead tired we just left it on all night rather than have to figure out what button to push on the TV in the darkness. 4) The Shower curtain Rod was falling down and being held up with a paper wad jammed into the space that would normally hold some sort of fastener. 5) The soap dish was falling off the wall. 6) There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom and mold on the celing of the bathroom, and the tub was in sore need of resurfacing. This hotel charges over 50.00 a night , which in my opinion is about 30.00 overpriced what it should be considering the condition of the rooms.

When we reserved our room at the days inn off highway 17 in brunswick, we were assured of a room with a pool. We were not told that the pool was being cleaned and would be out of commission for our stay. We were also not told this when we checked in on July 7th. When we got to our room, we found out that the room had not been cleaned very well either. The ice machine on our floor was also broken, and several of the parking places were taken up with construction debris. The next morning, when I inquried as to when the pool would be finished, the hotel clerk could not tell me. The only thing she would say is that they had too much algae so it had to be cleaned. I talked it over with my wife and we went to the Red Roof by I-95 and reserved a room and went back and checked out of the days inn. The clerk at the days inn did not seem very concerned that she was losing a guest. After this fiasco, our trip did take a better turn though.
