Completely filthy! Inside and out, stray cats roam the halls. Tub does not drain properly,
cobwebs in corners, spiders under the covers, Stayed in room #218. Will never stay at any hotel associated with the Clarion as long as I live. Three star rating? Must be rigging the reviews!

We stayed at the Clarion Inn in Brunswick, GA on Aug. 17, 2010. We thought, since it was affiliated with Quality Inns, that it would be a fairly nice, clean place to spend the night. Wow! were we ever wrong. When we opened the door, immediately a musty smell rushed into your nostrils. Then we noticed how dark the room appeared. We thought, oh well, it's just old--but that wasn't all. After we had brought a few things inside, I went to the restroom before going out to dinner. That is when I noticed that the toliet did not look like it had been cleaned. We were running late, it was 8:45 P.M., so rather than complain and have to find another hotel, I sprayed it with some disinfectant that I carry and we went on out to eat. After we returned to the hotel (about 10:20 P.M.), I turned down the bed only to find a live bug underneath the comforter! I don't mind a little dust, but a dirty toilet and finding a live bug underneath the covers was a little much.

Recently stayed there for a funeral. They gave our family a cheap group rate, we had about 10 rooms. The lobby is really nice. The room was nice- better than I expected. It was very up to date and clean. The bathroom was still a little shabby. The front desk staff were helpful with suggestions of places to eat. (the seafood place next door was good) The grounds people were helpful in telling me the best place to park to be near my room. The pool was clean and open late. The Gazebo provided shade. The free breakfast was very basic. French toast, cereal, bagels, toast and juice. The pictures on their website are true pics. I will stay there the next time I am in the city.

i have been staying at this Clarion Inn twice a year for a couple of years now. I've always had a good stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is courteous and competant, rates are reasonable and feels like the place has been upgraded every time I stop by. I would recommend this place to business and leisure folks alike.
