“Excellent Choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

This hotel unit is another great one in the Ramada chain. The room was an excellent size. The amenities are very basic - a tiny exercise room, a barely existent lobby, but fine for a bit of shuteye. There is a free breakfast that is superior to many more expensive hotels. Coffee, tea, juices, milk, make-your-own waffle machine, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, muffins, donuts, toast, and more. Rooms have large-ish flat panel TVs with cable. Also a mini-fridge, in-room coffe maker and microwave. The staff were excellent, helpful and very accomodating.

“Worst Beds EVER!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

Inexpensive...I would rather pay the extra $40 dollars and sleep. I have slept better in a tent on the ground.

“Never Again! Dirty and has bed bugs! Rude Staff..Terrible! Save yourself a headache and just don't stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

I would absolutely never recommend this hotel to anyone. I would feel bad sending my worst enemy here so this should say something. I was in town for business with my husband and we decided to spend the night at this hotel because the location was near the venue I needed to be at the following day. We arrived close to midnight, and the girl was new who was checking us in. My husband had called in just a few hours earlier to inquire about the rates. She told him it was $55.99. When I arrived I asked her again, and she quoted me ten dollars higher until I reminded her my husband had called in. "Oh that was you guys!" She said and gave us the $55.99 rate. She didn't charge us tax so I didn't tell her because it wasn't my place too. Then I had to stand there for a half hour as she tried to call some other people because she didn't know what she was doing. When she finally got done with the bill it said $59.99. I corrected her, and she looked at me like I shouldn't worry about the four dollars. Uh... No. I am not going to just give my money away because they put a brand new girl on the staff on the overnight shift who didn't know what she was doing. When we got to our room we were not impressed. I asked for any room other then the first floor, and of course she put me on the first floor. There was not many people in the hotel and I could see why. When I asked her why I couldn't stay on the third floor she said "Oh its policy." I have never heard of such a policy. I was just like "whatever" at this time it was past one AM when I finally got in my room. The room was dirty and dingy. I stay in hotels all the time for my modeling career has me on the road all the time, and this is the Second hotel that had bed bugs ever. Granted I usually stay in higher class hotel rooms, but this was disgusting. Then we asked to switch rooms and she wouldn't let us. we stripped the beds and used our own blankets because there bedding was nasty. They had plastic on the mattresses which was the only reason we didn't leave. The plastic was completely not comfortable.

We were rudely awakened at 8am after we asked for a late check out by a rude wannabe named Hannah. She woke us up because she said we had the roller for the suitcases in our room and they only had one. Now what kind of hotel only has one suitcase roller? I was totally shocked someone could be so dumb. Then she said
"Well we only have one so you need to bring it to the front."
I told her we were sleeping and were not going to get out of bed to take the roller to her which was just steps away from the front, and she could easily walk herself to get it if it was so important. I think she was just trying to bother us, because of some personal vendetta she had which is odd because we didn't know the girl. Then I put it in the hall and she called back and said,
"you have an attitude, so you will be out by 11am or I will call the police."
We had also booked the hotel for two nights the night prior. She said she would "refund" our money. She also made some lie up claiming we were loud the night before and she got complaints and had to give someone else a refund was the culprit. The funny thing is I checked my emails for work and went right to bed. No one was making noise, and no one was next to us. We got absolutely no complaints at all from anyone about noise. She claimed she was the manager. I said so when I call corporate they will tell me your a manager, and she said "kind of". I said you either are or you are not. There is no in between. She said it doesn't matter I will call the "police" if you don't leave. We had decided to leave anyways since she woke us up and refunded our money. I didn't sleep well in their nasty beds, so we moved down the road to a Laquinta. I definitely would recommend the Laquinta. It was only a few minutes down the road further, and she got us in before check in time as a courtesy since check in isn't till 3pm there, and we got there at 11am. Save yourself the headaches, and go to Laquinta, or one of the many other hotels nearby. For the price, the hotel was shady and so not worth it. Not to mention it had bed bugs which was simply disgusting. The hotel was dirty and it was not a good stay, unless you like being woke up by a little minimum wage high school drop out!

“Clean, convenient”

Quick overnight on long trip up I-95. This hotel claims to match the rates of slightly cheaper neighbors. It seems like a brand new hotel. Our rooms were spotless - we may have been the first residents. The parking lot is brightly lit, the pool simple but clean. Ice machines, and laundry machines for about $1.50 per load. No restaurant. Small convenience store.

Plenty of gas and fast food within a mile or two. Also grocery stores a couple miles away, in town. The night we visited, the town smelled like a paper mill, though there was no trace of that anyways near the hotel.

I don't think they have connecting rooms, because with few tenants, we could not get one.

“excellent value”

Stayed here one night on our way home from Florida. The price was excellent and the loacation very convenient from the interstate. We had checked it out online a read the reviews before making our reservation otherwise it would be easy to miss this place as they do not have a sign on the interstate. Room was very nice and clean, outdoor pool was nice as well. There a lots of restaurants near by for dinner. Breakfast was very good with waffle maker , eggs and fresh fruit offered. We would definately stay here again we were there on a Saturday night and it was not too busy. Great value.
