This trip I was advised to stay at a local Days Inn. After my long flight it loks like I picked the wrong Days Inn. This place is a dump. From the front desk staff, to the rooms, to the lounge. After one hour I was checking out and looking for another Days Inn. I found one in Jacksonville and booked a room. This Days Inn in Yulee said no refunds as I checked out. They can keep my money. They must need it to fix the place up or at least buy some bug spray for the roaches I saw in the hotel lobby.

I have two small children and I was in shock at the yuckiness of the whole room. I actually got the sleeping bags out of the van and we had to sleep in those. It was too late after midnight by the time we settled in. We left early the next day and stayed elsewhere. I couldn't even bring myself to show. The room looked as though they just changed the sheets, with no fitted sheet, and that was it. the bathroom was very nasty, hair and grime in the corners. I will NEVER stay at any Days Inn again. Do not stay here!!! For your health's sake.

I can't believe I stayed here. I should have known better when I had a problem the first five minutes at the service desk. The on-duty manager was so rude, arrogant, and dirty that I felt my skin crawl. When I noted a slight difference in price from what I was quoted from the website, he basically called me a liar. It was demeaning to be talked to like that. Even after I brought my laptop in to show him the discrepancy, he just made excuses. Then I pointed out that the reservation stated that I will be charged at the end of my stay but instead, he charged me right then. It's not that I have a problem with paying the money at that point, it was his attitude like I was going to leave without paying in the middle of the night. The room was just okay at best and I was glad to leave. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. I hope you will go to another hotel, you'll regret this one.

When arriving at the motel I was greeted by a very friendly reception staff. The reception staff were both helpful and speedy.The room was impeccably clean. I could not fault the room at all. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room immaculate, the attention to detail was second to none. One thing that really struck me was just how quiet it was, I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms, outside or from the corridor. I really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.
