My boyfriend and I went to this hotel out of desperation. We had driven for 11 hours solid and were exhausted. Trusting the name, we figured that we were getting a decent hotel. Mind you, we weren't looking for the Ritz, just a clean place to rest our heads. What we found was something out of a horror film: grimy sheets, non-functioning toilet, swarms of ants, holes in dirty bed linens, etc. The funniest part is that when we went to turn the sink on , the faucet handle itself actually crumbled in my hand. We checked out and despite our complete exhaustion drove for another 30 minutes until we found a cheaper and CLEANER place. To add insult to injury , the manager called us while we were on the road a few hours later and decided to charge US for "breaking the sink"...She was adamant that we "ran out " because of this --not because of the soiled sheets, critters running all along the bathroom floor and rugs, or any of the other factors. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. We were not expecting extravagance --simply a modicum of cleanliness. Frightening, truly. We will never ever stay at a Days Inn again. What a shame....
