Have stayed in other Country Inn and Suites--this one is not on par with them. When we entered our room, the security lock fell off the door. There were no toiletries and the tissue dispenser was empty. There was a housekeeper in the hallway and we requested those items. She replied that she didn't have any and that we should go to the front desk. Went to the front desk with the broken lock and requested the items that were missing from our room. Desk response was that they didn't have any and that someone went to get them. She stated that she would bring them up to our room. After more than three hours, nothing had arrived.
We informed the desk that we had been driving all day and at this point, don't bother bringing up the items, we were tired and just wanted to relax. After further review of the room, we also became aware that there was a coffee pot, but no coffee. What is disappointing about this is that the staff had a casual attitude. An "I apologize for the inconvenience" by the staff would have been appropriate, but never occurred. Makes a inn guest why they have to go out for simple supplies. We slept with no security lock on the door. Thank goodness it was just an overnight stay!

Room I was given hadn't been cleaned, but I was quickly given another one. The second room was missing toiletries. I had my own and wanted to sleep, so I didn't bother reporting it. My wake up call was 2 hours early.

Now to the positive: The bed was one of the best I've ever seen. The area is quiet and very convenient to JAX airport. The staff was friendly and did take care of the problems I reported. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.

I'll start with the good. The maid at this hotel was the best. She went around the breakfast room and talked to everyone to find out the best time to clean their rooms, and when we left, she stopped us to say goodbye and thank us for staying. Just a nice, personal touch.
In contrast the breakfast, which was standard fare was disappointing in a couple of little ways. The milk was leaking in the bottom of the refrigerator, there were no utensils, the waffle iron constantly had waffles burnt onto the grate and the attendant just stayed locked in the side room unless you knocked on the door and asked for something. No big deal, but he just didn't care.
Other than that it was a pretty standard room, the pool was smallish and in the parking lot. The hotel was clean, the general property just a little rough around the edges no big deal, but noticable.

We were travelling down to furnish a new house on the Space Coast, and after a long day, were so glad to find haven in this nice hotel. The new hotel is just off I-95, in behind a fast-food restaurant. Everything was sparkling clean. The desk clerk and Housekeeping person were both so helpful and informative, told us about a good restaurant for dinner, just down the road. The room was extremely attractive: spacious, well-furnished and clean.There was a nice refrigerator and coffeemaker, and internet access was perfect. The breakfast room was clean and well-supplied the next morning and we had a hearty breakfast before hitting the road again. There's even a lending library where one is encouraged to select a book to be returned at another Country Inn or mailed back to the first one when finished! We really loved staying here and would certainly do it again!
