Nice, clean pool, cute beachfron on a small lake. "Hair dryers by request," the website said. When we arrived, there was one in each room.
Recommend anyone who is budget conscious, but also cleanliness conscious. Lots of room outside for kids to swim and play.

pix s on internet are not what it really is..old & run down is what it is.. working on some rooms but not professonally work.. 1 beddroom suites with kitchen ..no diswasher.. the smaller the room the worseit is..our 1 bedroom has no dressers for clothe s..everything is mis matched.. the beds omg rock ..the matteress is really saggn ...outside is so dirty the building the walkways ..the walls r dirty.. holes on door rust on fixtures things hanging.. dusty

I had been on the road for 2 long days and just stopped at this well-kept motel on a lake to see if they had availability for 1 night. It was around 8pm and the owners were working in the office--very welcoming. Since it was off-season, they had quite a bit of availability and I upgraded to a King-bed room overlooking Lake Roy for $69. Wow--what a great value! Although the motel has been there for years (I remember driving by it 30+ years ago), the room was clean, freshly painted, nice beds, free wi-fi, but still a bit dated (therefore a 4 star). The best part is in the morning, bring your coffee down to the pool and enjoy the serenity overlooking the beach and lake.

Old - yes. Clean - yes. Friendly owners - absolutely. We only stayed overnight - got there late and left early. Close to new Legoland, and a good price for the area. You can't expect Marriot facilities for $69 a night (lake view). Only complaint is the blinds didn't quite close all the way so you had the exterior light (good for safety) coming in a bit. Nothing rolling over in bed or bringing a night mask can't take care of. Great water pressure and temperature (plenty of hot water). Room had tv (with Nickeloden - I didn't dare change the channel), microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and came with a continental breakfast. Peeked at the pool in the morning - clean and welcoming but we were off to Legoland, no time for a dip. Also skipped the continential breakfast for McDonald's which was close by.
