Spent a few days there in December. The units were very well laid out and perfect for a large group. there was 8 of us and we had 3 units, 2 of them connected, the other across the hall. Excellent service from front desk. When we phoned to get a suggestion on where to go for dinner, they not only gave us a great suggestion, but sent Eddy in the van to pick us up and take us there. After a great dinner Eddy came back and picked us up! Very convenient, lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Main pool was great.

Just had a three day stay at Vacation Village at Bonaventure. We stayed on the second floor of Flamingo 1 building. It was fine, but that is it. Place just needs a bit of refurbishing. Nothing major, but is starting to show its age a bit. Hallway carpet is a bit matted. Fixtures are basically fine. TVs were old--the two large screen projection-type TVs were hard to watch. Walls, doors, etc. are paper thin inside the unit. Hallway door and walls are fine. We stayed at another Vacation Village in Kissimmee with much nicer furnishings immediately after and enjoyed it more. Fixtures are basically OK, but the shower was run down with some caked-on silt. Pool are outside our buidling was nice and nicely maintained. No real complaint, but not kep to the highest standard.

I like the layout of the one bedroom unit - it is like the Grandview is Las Vegas. For two people - it felt very big. Loved the zero entry shower. I did not like the 18 inch tv in the bedroom with no DVD, but the front room has a nice tv with DVD. The weather was beautiful for New Years, but we never even checked out the pool. Very convienient to Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Parking was easy to. Check in and checkout was a breeze and they had a free interent room to print out your boarding passes. Elevator was pretty quick even though we were on the top floor. I called the resort to ask how much was their WIFI in the room and was told $100 - which is outrageous. When I got there they said $50 - but i did not bring my laptop since they told me it was 100. I prefer having a laptop, I wish they would have gotten their story straight.

We stayed in Sandpiper 1. It was great. We had the A and B unit. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children. They had brand new living room furniture in both units!

The balcony was one of our favorite spots to sit in the morning! I couldn't believe how spacious it was. The children really enjoyed the pools. There were 6 I believe to choose from.

It is approximately a 20 minute drive to the Fort Lauderdale beach or 45 minutes to South Beach. The Sawgrass Mall is only 10 minutes away. This was a huge outlet mall with movie theater.

My family can't wait to go back.
