It isn't the best neighborhood, (we were even told that the only "white faces" there are usually tourists) but the room was pretty clean and it was certainly do-able for the two nights we were there. There's a Day's Inn right in front of it that might be better though. Or, try for a different area of West Palm Beach if possible - like Singer Island/Riviera Beach.
The Knights Inn, in my four night experience was nothing but trouble. We arrived and checked in to our room, which had dirty counters and an unclean bathroom. Each night our cards were deactivated and we had to hastle with the night management who remained behind bullet proof glass, about enterance to our room. One night I was told that my credit ard was rejected and we were not allowed to enter our room at all, when in fact we were charged doubly for that night and have yet to receive reimbursement. We paid with an alternate card after much grief, and were allowed to return to our bug infested, dirty room. Visitors beware.
