Stayed this weekend for a cheerleading competition. The staff was friendly. The room was awesome. My room was ready when we arrived early. OK here comes the bad. It is by the interstate and you could here the traffic as if you were outside. The only complaint I have and it is a big one is that I picked that hotel because I wanted to take advantage of the free breakfast. When I went down in the morning to take it back to the sleepy heads I was told I was not allowed to take food up to the room. REALLY!!!! Is this elementary school. It was also the sorriest excuse for breakfast I have seen in a long time. Cut to the chase, we ended up having to pay for breakfast somewhere else. Due to the fact that they only serve til 9am. The rooms were very nice and the staff was great but I would not stay there again. Sorry guys but I paid for the breakfast and I don't want to be told where I can eat it.If you don't want people taking it to their rooms , extend the hours....it is vacation not the military...lol

We ended up in this hotel when we were overbooked in another hotel and they sent us here. The hotel was beautiful -- much prettier on the inside than other comparable suite hotels. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. When we realized we were a bed short since the couch in the living room was not a sleeper sofa and I inquired about renting another room, they suggested a rollaway bed which they quickly brought up and which saved us quite a bit of money. The only thing that was not that great was the breakfast -- it was ok, but lacked the variety of other comparable hotels.

Exceeded expectations. Friendly, helpful comfortable, everything I had hoped for. Great breakfast.

This weekend I stayed at the Hawthorn Suites in West Palm. Check in was overrun with kids with nothing better to do than gather in the lobby and run up and down the hallways. With such a big group, management should have put them all on the first and second floors. Elevators were overtaxed. Parking was inadequate for the number of rooms and it was just noisy. The bathroom was not cleaned very well when I got to the room and the upholstery was grossly dusty. The TV station choice was basic and boring with half the channels suffering from so much snow that they were barely viewable. Nice facility poorly managed.
