I personally dont like Holiday Inns, but since this was a family reunion event, I had to make my reservations with the rest of the family. Shockingly, I was amazed at how great this hotel was. Its very convient to everything including Singer Island Beach. There's a Walmart right up the street and a frig and microwave in the room, so we didnt end up spending extra dollars on eating out everyday. And yes, there's a continental breakfast that is more than convient. The front desk staff was so nice, and anything you needed, even down to information about local night life, and attractions, they found the answer for you. 2 thumbs up for the Holiday Inn Express at Metrocentre.

Front desk service was exceptional, the room was very nice with comfortable beds. Convenient location near I-95. Although the hotel is nearby the highway, I found it quiet and even the pool area surrounded with palm trees provided a little oasis. Full breakfast buffet in the morning included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, bagels, yogurt, cererals, juices, tea/coffee, USA Today newspapers. The gym has two treadmills with a flascreen and a spring water cooler. Very happy with all the conveniences.

The downside: The "business center" was kind of makeshift in the lobby. You have to get down on the floor to use your USB flash drive input. Calbles are a mess. At 6:30am, the front desk clerk's child (8 yrs old) was still fast asleep on the lobby/breakfast area couch. The hotel maintenance person (greese covered shirt) enjoyed breakfast with the hotel patrons from 6:30-7:30am....Hmmm. For my two day stay, the dirty pool towels were never picked up, the pool was never swept of debris (except for by me) and there were never towels available in the gym.

Wouldn't have take much to make the stay perfect. Free Wireless Internet everwhere. Still a decent stay for $80.

We booked this hotel because it said it had two queens, and with advance purchase the price was less than $100.00 per night in season. Only problem, they are not queens. They were doubles so we booked a second room. The staff was not helpful; since we insisted we get the same rate we received booking on line. They could not figure that out! Other than that the room was fine. Nice new hotel , decent breakfast. Would stay there again for the value.

I am a business traveler and had to do a weekend stay over at the Holiday Inn Express at MetroCentre Blvd in West Palm Beach. At about 8:00 pm Saturday night it sounded like I was staying at a night club instead of a hotel. Apparently the hotel booked a dance party without telling the guests. I argued with the front desk all night long trying to get some peace and quiet to no avail. Stay away from this place if you value peace and quiet.
