Front desk people were great but beyond that it is a horrible place to stay. Room felt dirty. Faucet in shower was almost disconnected due to dry rot as was the hanging bar for clothes that took the place of a closet. They neglected to clean room one day, and the other did not get to it till 4 pm. Food at breakfast was terrible. Area was on the verge of scary.

No frills, clean with basic's "only". Nice tv with no HD??? Not many restaurants close, but "gentlemans club" close by. Walking distance. Ok for men but limited for ladies that like conveniences. Glass of wine with dinner, etc. 4 miles minimum for decent restaurants.

We try to stay at Holiday Inn's wherever possible as we believe they provide good value and are usually at a very good standard. This hotel was as expected, although the staff were just a bit more friendly so it made it a bit above the rest.
The rooms were clean and tidy. Not too much you can say about them.
The barstaff (Lisa) was particularly friendly and was great to talk with. It makes all the difference when hotel staff seem to be genuinely interested in their customers.
Would recommend to anyone.

The room was very clean, comfortable and located in a very easily accessible area to everywhere we needed to go. Would highly recommend this hotel and I'm sure we will use it again. Price was very competitive compared to area hotels.
