I came to West Palm Beach with my horse actually, to take part in the Winter dressage activity in Wellington. My horse was stabled at a barn in Wellington and I was to stay for a month at the Casa de Rosa. I had never been away from my home and my husband for that long. I knew as soon as I was greeted at the door by Frank that I would be more than a guest in their beautiful home. Their unassuming hospitality was so very welcome to me. I became a part of their family as I sat at breakfast with the most wonderful people from every part of the United States and Canada. I shared in the laughter and tears of those guests who had been regulars there for many years. I thank Elaine for her faith and humor and most of all her culinary expertise. I will never forget Frank with his honest interest in my horse activities. The home and grounds are something out of a Tuscan novella. It is quiet and conducive to a retreat but also it abounds with the energy of all the various guests who grace the rooms. I encourage all those who need a place of respite but also enjoy the wonderful banter of interesting people to come and stay a while at the Casa de Rosa.

I would highly recommend staying here, the gardens and pool are like a top notch resort. Rooms were pleasant and very clean, breakfasts delicious. The house is just beautiful and well kept. I would only caution anyone who is hesitant about B&Bs because I found our hosts to be more intrusive than typical for B&Bs. They were always asking us of our whereabouts, they seem to have a lot of rules, and I felt a little uncomfortable using their pool and such as if they were monitoring us. Because of this, I did not feel totally relaxed and "at home" here. Also, although it they have room to serve guests at seperate tables, they do force you to all eat breakfast together which can be a little annoying if you don't feel like trying to make conversation with guests.

Thanks to Frank and Elaine, at the Casa de Rosa. Their hospitality is unparalleled. The house and grounds are pristine. We have stayed in B & B's before, but none as beautiful as this. Our room was the "White Rose", it was spacious and comfortable, with a great tub, and balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfasts were looked forward to each morning, with Elaine's culinary results being outstanding! Frank helped us each day, with finding great places to eat. He even printed out menus for us, to the local restaurants. We feel we left with a larger circle of friends, not only the ones we had breakfasts with, but also our hosts!

We would highly recommend anyone to plan their next vacation around the Casa de Rosa, in West Palm Beach!

Casa de Rosa is a jewel. From the outside ... the gardens and pool, the verandas, the birds, the air and sun ... to the inside ... a romantic getaway that includes a gourmet breakfast ... we really felt that we had found paradise.

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit, and Casa de Rosa is one of the few places that we plan to return to. It is everything their photos show and much more. Frank and Elaine are gracious and unassuming hosts.
