From the first impression, a phone call, I was impressed on every level.
I called looking for an open night or two within the next 24 hours, and spoke to Pat on the phone. He quoted me a very fair rate and said the room was open for us for one or two nights. I almost made the reso but my wife asked for a website to check photos first. He was gracious and not pushy. He have me the web address, told us to check it out, and call back if I wanted.
The website was clear and showed very nice photos which proved to be very accurate, which was a nice surprise.
I called to make the reso, got great directions, and let him know it was an anniversary trip.
We got a late start and did some slow sightseeing on the way making our arrival a bit later than I thought. Pay actually called us making sure we were ok and that we didn't get lost!
He was out front when we pulled up and had reserved a parking space directly next to our room. He unloaded our luggage from our car and helped us get settled in.
Nice surprise to find fresh roses in our room, classy touch.
Pat also gave us his menus for the backyard bar and grill which was a perfect fit for us. Just outside put front door and through a beautiful floral walkway was a gorgeous courtyard, white linen cover tables for 2, a few 4 tops, and a few outdoor couches for larger parties. The tables were nicely decorated with sea glass, candles, and fresh flowers.
The menu was a perfect fit. The drinks included fresh sprigs of rosemary, thyme, and even a hibiscus liqueur called hum, and several fresh juices. We had several from their menu and they were all very delightful.
The food menu was mostly tapa style, chees plate, charcuterie plate, olives, rosemary toasted almonds, fresh breads and jams, etc. everything served was well presented and was served harmoniously.
A bit later into the evening there was enjoyable entertainment in the courtyard that was fun. Once we retired into our room, the courtyard entertainment contined full blast but was not a noise distraction in our room one bit.
The room was impeccably clean. The bed looked brand new and the linens were crisp and perfect. The bathroom looked perfecting clean with a very relaxing jacuzzi tub. It appeared that every towel was brand new. I'm sure they weren't, but they were so clean and soft it felt like everything was new for us.
After sleeping like babies, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at a common table. We had pleasant conversation with other guests. Pats blueberry pancakes were second to none.
I have to honestly say that there is nothing I would change to improve our stay at the palm beach hibiscus, it was a perfect experience. I will absolutely return.
