I stayed at the Airport Central Palm Beach Hampton for one night on Febr 1, 2011 using Hilton HHonors points. Normally would have been about $169 + the usual taxes and fees, according to the Hilton website.
I arrived at PBI after a long day with two plane changes, totaling about 10 hours. Hampton's shuttle was prompt and the driver was pleasant and helpful. The front desk was typical Hampton, pleasant and efficient with my reservation, and suggested the Great American Grill at the Hilton Garden Inn next door, an excellent choice!
Had a nice comfortable bed, but come on, who really needs five pillows?

Wireless internet was worthless! I was getting download speeds of bout 24k/sec not much better than the old dial-up connections.

Breakfast was a disappointment. I try to follow a low-carb regime, but few choices here. Pastries, sugary cereals, etc. Few hot choices, no hot eggs or sausage. Just french toast fingers and some paper-thin bacon. You know, like on a Burger King bacon cheeseburger, where the bacon is about as thin as the paper they wrap the sandwich in. Comparing to other Hampton Inns, (my hotel of choice when on the road) pretty bleak. Hampton breakfasts are usually pretty good (see my review for Hampton Lake City, FL the next night)
All in all, the room itself was fine, the overall experience, not so much. My experience with Hampton Inns sets a high bar. This one didn't clear it.

This Hampton Inn is near Airport and the rooms are very clean. Everything seemed like it was new and the outdoor pool was also very well kept and heated.

We have stayed in several of the airport hotels in the past few years for 1 night stays in between flight segments. By far, this newer hotel close to the airport is the best value and cleanest. The shuttle was convenient and quick and we used it to get to and from the airport and also to get to City Center for the afternoon/evening. No need for a car if you are just going out for a bit of sight seeing and/or dinner. There are no real restaurants near the hotel (also true of several of the others we've stayed at) so having the shuttle available to take you places is a huge benefit. Other hotels, like the nearby Holiday Inn will also shuttle you around.

Check in was easy. We booked a regular King room but all of these are next to the elevators (beware) but they readily moved us into a deluxe King when we asked them to move us to a quieter location. Like many hotels, the doors are loud if allowed to shut by themselves so the level of door noise will depend on the courtesy of your neighbors. Having the deluxe suite does put you back some distance from the hall, which helps. The room was clean and the amenities what you would expect (minifridge, microwave, TV, Iron and board, hair dryer, coffee maker). Free wireless in the room was an unexpected perk.

What puts this hotel ahead in my mind is the complementary breakfast. No, it isn't as good as you would get in a restaurant but they do try and it is on the better end of the free hotel breakfast scale. In addition to the obligatory bagels, muffins and pastries, there is also waffles, fruit (bananas, oranges and apples), oatmeal, 3 kinds of dry cereal, yogurt, eggs and biscuits and gravy. The orange juice was watery but perhaps it was just my bad luck. Given that breakfast was included in the price, I was pleased.

The bottom line is that in the mid-range airport hotels with shuttles, this one should certainly be on your short list.
