It's an excellent place. Seriously whoever wrote the two negatives just didn't stay here. Brian has mastered hospitality. The rooms are themed and eat off the floor clean. A great pool open year round and the ocean just over the dunes. Several quality restaurants within walking distance if you wish to enjoy a little wine with the meal. Stayed March 2010, drop down doesn't go there.

We spent a long day flying down to Florida (5am - 11pm) and arrived at this motel exhausted. With an 8 year old in tow, we just wanted to go to sleep. What a horrible disappointment when we arrived. The air conditioner was so loud, nobody would be able to sleep, but it was so hot that we wouldn't have been able to sleep without it. The fold-out sofabed was broken. I was not going to risk my daughter sleeping on it. Then, when we checked the drawers, I found a beatle crawling around in the first one.

That was enough. We then tried to phone another hotel to see if they had a room (around midnight now) and the phone in the room was dead.

I appreciate how the lady on the phone was accommodating with our late arrival. She sounded very nice. That's the only bright spot that prevented this rating from being a "Terrible" rating.

This place is absolutely awesome. Just rented the whole place for my wedding in Vero. The staff was super friendly and helpful and as long as we were respectful and cleaned up after ourselves they were okay with whatever. We had a bbq there, hung out there everyday, and partied there every night with no one bothering us. The rooms are very nice, each have a kitchen and living room and the price is great. Oh and directly across from the beach. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you south beach place for contributing to one of the most wonderful weekends of my life!

I have never reviewed a place before, good or bad, but felt obliged to write and say what a gem of a place this is. Immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped suites, great pool (cleaned every day), good location, really well-maintained grounds. Manager very helpful. Only wish our whole holiday was here instead of just 2 nights of a 13 day break!!
