Hotel - From the outside, we didn't expect much. But when we arrived to our room, we were extremely surprised to find our room included much more than a bathroom, bed and TV. We had a full kitchen, desk and couch, and seating within the kitchen area!! Even though it was only the two of us, this room would be great for a small family of four. The view of the beach is AMAZING! And the view of the sunset is breath taking. We sat on the oversized balcony and watched the sunset. Just beautiful. The hotel staff was friendly. The coffee in the hotel lobby is great! Better than expected! Two thumbs up!

Location - Great location! We were unfamiliar but with this area but there is so much to do within 15 minutes of this hotel. Easy access to Publix supermarket, restaurants (our favorites: Latitudes; and Woody's Waterfront) and boating tours.

Beach - There is so much beach space in front of this hotel. The sand feels so good underneath your feet. Be sure to visit Brian for a chaise lounge or a comfy cabana!! The pelican watching was so much fun! :)

my husband and I stayed at the island inn for the 2nd time, and loved every minute of it. We requested the same room as the first time and it was just as we remembered. Rooms are very clean, staff is all very nice and helpful, and Ricks tiki bar is great! We will be back soon...this is our favorite vacation spot!

My wife and I went over for a weekend getaway. We had a recently renovated beach front effiency with two queen beds, big flat screen, new tile and paint (rm#205). The staff was very friendly, pool and courtyard was very nice and relaxing....tiki bar wasn't bad either.We will be back soon.

Your feet or socks if you wear them inside, will be BLACK as I don't believe carpets have ever been steam cleaned. The pool is nice and ability to sit at bar and have a beverage and be close to the ocean is the only plus. Everything inside, including toilets w/ nasty ring inside bowl, needs major cleaning and updating. If you're a germ-conscious person like me, this is not your place to stay.
