The room was nice but too many smokers were smoking outside their rooms which prevented me from opening my door to the fresh air. Nonsmoking means nonsmoking!!!

This was a nice 2.5 star hotel. The rooms were big. Had a little refrigerator and microwave; counter-tops for kitchen area, even had a little seating area.
The beds were OK not great as were pillows. The staff was very nice. Carolyn who cleaned our rooms was wonderful!
The down side was we had a view of the gulf but you really could not leave your door open because of all the cigarette smoke. It truly was overpowering.
I was there on business and this place was great for the price and i would return if i need a place in Saint Petersburg area again!
The laundry facility i used once but would not recommend. My clothes ended up very dingy and the dryer is VERY hot.
Most of the equipment in the work out area was broken. The beach is across the street with wonderful walking path and beach access.

Our family stayed at the hotel for a week early in January, and were overall quite pleased with our stay. We booked online and received a quite good rate, ( and for that reason, I was a bit fearful of what the rooms would be like. ) While it is clearly an older hotel...I was pleasantly surprised; the rooms have been remodeled and are comparable with a Holiday Inn, or similar chain hotel. The bed was quite comfortable, and I was pleased to find a mini fridge, microwave and sink area in the room. While is is across the street from the beach, it is an easy stroll down to the water. As mentioned in other reviews, the staff is friendly and helpful, but we did have a couple of days when we had to ask for towels as it appears the room was not completely cleaned. The one thing missing was a free continental breakfast, although they do sell discount coupons for a breakfast at the Waffle house next door. Note...it is a HUGE breakfast, two people can easily eat on one order. Would definitely stay here again....good value.

Great location - good access off the causeway, public beach directly across the street, restaurants and shopping nearby. Friendly staff, clean rooms, heated pool, wifi fine.
Cleaning staff 'forgot' to clean bathroom two days in a row. Once front desk notified, they didn't forget again. Handy exercise room, but only one of three treadmills working. Hot water not always available in coffee/tea room.
Good value booking on travelocity, I will return.
