I stayed at the Cheri Lyn Motel for 10 days recently, the reason I picked Cheri Lyn was because of the reviews on trip advisor, to say the least these reviews were right on, I have been coming to Florida off and on since 1969 this was my 5th time in Treasure island. This place is run by a family a sister two brothers with a little help from mom and dad, they live on site, and they do the maintenance, housekeeping and all other jobs that need to be done. The rooms are clean, the pool and poolside are outstanding, will I be back, you bet I will, this will be my home away from home.

This is really home away from home. The friendlies of the owners is infectious and everyone has a great casual time. They literally walk the walk when it comes to ensuring guests have a good time. We hope these smart young people do great with their venture. Place is a meeting place for folks from Cape Breton Nova Scotia and Ontario (North Bay)

If you have a question, or need something, the owners (sister and two brothers) will do everything to make you happy. Their front office is like a living room at your own home with movies you can borrow to play on your computer. They even have a computer you can use to check your email!!
I just can tell you they are so friendly and I would not think of staying anywhere else for a beach vacation. The beach is right across the street and easy to get there with our own light and crosswalk! We were so comfortable in the rooms and loved the ping pong too. They also have shuffle board. We had fun playing volleyball in their pool and look forward to many more games there in the future. We enjoyed hanging out with friends we met up with and some new friends we know we will see again there another time!

This past June I visited Treasure island to meet up with some old friends and we stayed at the Cheri Lyn. The price and the location are unbeatable, we were able to walk right out of our rooms and across the street to the beach in no time. The owners, Tricia, Dan and Dave are great and attentive to every need, not to mention they have remodeled recently and the place looks great. I will definitely be making my reservations at the Cheri Lyn the next time I am in Treasure Island.
