We wanted to get away for Thanksgiving 2011 and chose the Tahitian for our 4 night stay. The accomodations were perfect at an amazingly low price. It is an old-Florida style property that is clean, quiet and well-maintained. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful and made our stay one of the best we've had. We parked the car and didn't move it until we checked out. We walked everywhere because everything we needed was close by - great breakfasts at Waffle House, lunch & Thanksgiving dinner at Sloppy Joe's, dinner/drinks at Rick's and Publix supermarket for essentials - it was great! Wonderful sunsets each evening with a glass of wine and also the Treasure Island Sand sculpture competition was amazing. We plan to make this an annual trip or more often if possible.

We first went to the Tahitian Resort Tresaure Island for a big family vacation last Christmas. During that trip we got to know Dawn at the front desk. She was great and helped us enjoy the hotel and Treasure Island with all her recommendations of great family activities in the area. This September we came back to Florida for an extended stay, and our first thought was to look up Dawn at the Tahitian to see if they could meet our needs. The Tahitian Resort has met and exceeded our needs. From Dawn and Britt at the front desk to Miss Nancy in housekeeping...our "home away from home" has been just that. It's as if the staff truly knows what each guest needs to make the most of their stay. All of our questions are answered promptly and always better and with more ease than we could have imagined. Now four months later, we will be moving to a permanent Florida home, but be sure when we need a little get away, we will be calling Dawn and heading back to the Tahitian.

We got married on 11-11-11 on Treasure Island beach. We and another wedding occupied the entire hotel. The office and cleaning staff had a heck of a job that weekend, and they were as amazing as the ceremony and celebration itself. Without the Tahitian and it's staff, the whole weekend and wedding experience could not have gone as smoothly.

THANK YOU TAHITIAN!! We'll be back for our first anniversary :)

One minor things, that I didn't get to mention before we checked out...
the absolute only thing that needs to be fixed is the squeaky kids' swing... :)

I had the pleasure of staying at The Tahitian Resort last weekend. The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. I traveled for an 11:11 p.m. aura merging ceremony on 11/11/11 under the full moon on the beach. We had to cook to prepare and everything we could have possibly needed was found in their kitchen and efficiency units. Thank you Tahitian. I will be back! Darlene M. Sylvester. P.S.
