“Horrible experience!!”

This was the worst place I have ever stayed! Where do I start? Here is the list of problems:
Bedroom window blinds did not fit the window(too small) so you could actually see in. There were no curtains so we had to hang blankets to block out not only someone being able to see in but the light right outside the window. I stepped on two carpet tacks (sticking up from the carpet strips) by the breakfast bar and I was barefoot. The phone did not work. There was no hot water in the bathroom. One of the outside lights in the parking lot apparently had been hit by something so it was pointing at the building. The light was blinding so we could not keep the drapes open in the LR. There was no table and chairs, only 3 bar stools. If there had been 4 people staying here, the fourth person would have to sit on the couch to eat. Having to eat at the bar was ridiculous! There was no furniture on the balcony. They finally brought two plastic chairs and a little plastic table (the size of a stool). They were those cheap, stackable type. There was never anyone at the desk in the lobby and the wastebasket there was full and overflowing the whole time we were there. The women's restroom in the lobby was a filthy mess and was never cleaned. The men's was not much better. There was frequently something keeping the door from the parking garage propped open. So much for security! I had to go off site to check in and out. I made many contacts with the "resort" general manager and he did finally refund some of my money due to all of the problems. I did read on a site after returning home that the place had filed for bankruptcy so I understand all of the problems. I believe my list of problems is enough to keep anyone from staying at this joint. My advice...never do business with these people nor stay at this place!!

“Don't stay here if you want to clean your own room and have a long walk to the beach”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2009

We stayed here and it's a nice hotel but the service isn't. I personally had to clean our room everyday. The maid comes by and ask you if you need anything like extra towels.. ect... They clean your room before you check in.. and out... Thats all!
The walk to the beach was terrible! It's 15 minutes from the hotel. You have to cross a very busy highway. My husband is disabled and we had no idea that the beach was so far away from the hotel. We were mislead by hotels.com .. Beware of getting a room from them! The staff was very nice here. The rooms was super nice. It was very spacious and new. I don't have any complaints about the room it's-self. The balconys are not private at all. If you want a private balcony this isn't the place for you.
The noise from the street was terrible while sitting on the balcony or going to the hotel pool. The whole set up of the hotel is backwards.. I woudn't stay here again knowing what I know.. This hotel is not a family hotel... If it was they would be cleaning your room everyday. It didn't seem like a vacation to me.. because I was cleaning a lot.
My family drove 10 hours for a crummy week at this hotel.

“Units have nice views and are clean; but forget trying to use the kitchens.”

With a few changes these condos could be given a 5 in every category. The area is beautiful. Condos are new and clean. If you just need a clean place to stay and are planning to get meals elswhere, these are fine. There are good restaurants nearby.

However, if you plan to use the kitchens, be leary of promises made to you. Our gourp consisted of four couples booking two 2 BR units for a week. First, we were not given the units we booked. The explanation given for the room switch proved to be completely false. Neither kitchen was equipped well enough to prepare meals. The refrigerator in one of the units didn't even cool. TRS has been given months to reply to our complaints and we have received no explanations or apologies for the long list we submitted to them.

“Not worth the $2,000. Don't stay here! No management on site and no phones to call them.”

We paid a lot of cash to stay at this location for one week in Florida. We were told it was one of the "Premier" properties. When we got there, we had to go to another location through traffic to pick up a key because there was no staff on site. I had to drive to that location 3 times throughout our stay. The pool was busy and it was not cleaned once during the entire week. The phones in all of the units never worked so we could not even call the front desk. (The front desk at the other location 15 mins away). The door to the stairwell closest to our unit was broken so there was no security. When I complained about the pool, the phones and the door, I was told they would deal with it. Funny, I never saw anyone. They didn't care because we paid in advance. I even found the management company's office and begged them to clean the pool. Still nothing! Do not stay here!!!!
