Alex and the staff do, quite simply, an amazing job with the upkeep of this Hotel, not to mention treat people in a friendly and professional manner. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. We do trade shows and every time we are in this area, we choose this hotel. We see a lot of hotels in a year, and this is probably the cleanest and friendliest place to date.

I hope no one expects to be going to a resort. This is your an average type hotel stay. A place to lay your head, w no frills. What makes it a great stay is, unlike their competitors for the same price, this is a clean and comfortable place to lay your head. The staff was so nice, the desk clerk even found us hot chocolate in the middle of the night. Why? Bc he was nice, and we asked! The only problem, beyond their control, is that it wasn't close enough to Mount Dora City Center...about 20 min. But I will willing to sacrifice distance for a good price, and a name I trust.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Lake County, Florida. We got a good deal on the "Presidential Suite"; though a good size with two separate bedrooms, a lounge and decent kitchen, it was not Presidential by any stretch of the imagination. The fixtures and fittings were dated and pillows in particular were very old and lumpy. The reception was very nice with large tropical freshwater aquariums dividing the reception and breakfast area. Breakfast was the usual HIE fayre and the attendant was very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located, like so many HIEs, a bit out of town but there is a decent, friendly bar and gril within two minutes walk and your room key entitles you to a free appetiser. We are never likely to return to this area but the HIE provided decent accommodation at a reasonable cost so I am happy to recommend it.

We arrived early, was welcomed and told our room was ready! The room was clean and quiet. The location was great, in the middle of alot of things to see. It was really nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave, very convenient! The breakfast had many, many choices, from pancakes to yogurt and fruit. We will stay again when we come to visit!.

this hotel is located about 2 miles from lake dora and the seaplane base in Tavares.also close too lake county community college and lake square mall ,can get a bit rowdy during bike week in leesburg as they get 250 k bikers in town . very clean and a great hot breakfast bar
