Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed here over Veterans Day weekend. It was the best value for the money in the area. Check in was prompt and friendly. The room was VERY quiet. Even though it was right by the aiport, we only occasionally heard airplanes. (We were on the side facing away from the airport.) Didn't have the usual "hotel" sounds of slamming doors, people talking in the hallway, and cars leaving. The room was nicely furnished; didn't look like your usual hotel room. There was a vinyl wood floor in the entry, tile in the kitchen area and bath, and carpet in the rest. There was a desk with TWO comfortable chairs and plug for the computer right where you need one. We used the internet successfully . The only problem was initially logging in (Parental Controls in Vista was blocking the login page) but we took the computer down to the front desk, showed them, and figured it out. We didn't use the kitchen, but it had a large refrigerator, microwave, and eating area (countertop with stools. Entry, closet (rod and shelves), bathroom (with closed storage area under sink), and room were spacious. Beds were very comfortable, even the pull out couch was comfortable for the teenagers - they slept 'till 10:30! We only were in the area for one night. but this room was nice enough that I would have been happy to stay much longer, as the hotel name suggests. A/C was controlled by a thermostat, so we weren't constantly adjusting the temp. The window was openable for fresh air. We asked for late checkout and it was graciously given for free. The only downside to the stay was breakfast is not served on weekends. However, there are plenty of places to eat up on Hillsborough Avenue (We recommend Nicki's Omelette and Grill).

The biggest problem with this hotel is the housekeeping. In a five week stay here, housekeeping was supposed to come once a week. The second week, I didn't get housekeeping service at all, even though I mentioned that we were skipped to the front desk. The third week, housekeeping did not clean the kitchen or replace trash bags. The fourth week, they did not clean the kitchen or bathroom.

Next, don't count on the "kitchen" in this hotel. There are no dishes, so I bought my own. The oven is useless - I used it twice and there is something wrong with it and smoke filled the room and set off the smoke alarm (I was baking chicken).

The shuttle driver the hotel uses for service to and from the airport is rude and slow. I made an appointment the night before arriving, and still had to wait at the airport for over an hour before he arrived.

Don't count on doing laundry here - out of 3 dryers, only one works.

In general, the staff is rude and/or unhelpful, the room is cheap and not kept clean, and it is not worth the money. At least the pool is clean - but it was closed for a week for some sort of repair.

I have to take a pass on this one. Best part was leaving. Should have listened to my partner who said you didn't like this place the last time either. I wanted to give it another try. Will not do it again.

The only complaint I had with this hotel was the $ 4.99 charge for an internet connection that is awful powered by a company Goesh. Do not depend on a reliable service if doing business from your room. Other than this the room is very comfortable although there is quite a lot of noise along the entry corridor where there are many who have no idea the meaning of "quiet time" on entry after 10.pm.
All in all a very nice stay.
