This is a pretty much average hotel in the Choice chain though prices run higher than many in better city locations. It is an older property but is kept clean and seems well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the shower ok. Wi-fi signal was strong. The drawback for me was location. I like to have eateries and convenience venues nearby. There is only a Wendy's within close walking distance and, even when driving, you have to go a ways to find somewhere decent to eat. I will definitely try another hotel the next time I'm in the Tampa area.

Had an unexpected getaway and didn't get time to map a plan of action while on vacation. Came across this fantastic hotel in a great location near shopping, food, The Hard Rock Casino and the highway to the Tampa Bay Ryas game. Hotel was super clean, the workers were very friendly and help with directions and food suggestions. Rooms are large, all smoke free, had a couch, fridge and microwave in room and had a great breakfast to start us out each morning. Thanks for the great stay while visiting the Tampa area. Will be back next summer!

my girlfriend and I had a free night from hard rock mailer - although we stayed and did not have to pay one penny the entire staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating especially the two men who ran the van service to the hard rock we could only ask for some hard rock luck!! our room had an alcove with a couch and all the amenities we could want please tank them again for us

The front lobby should have been our "first flag" as what to expect the rooms would be. You could not even sit on the chairs or sofa in the lobby due to an excessive amount of neon colored stuffed animals decorating the place. Things dangling from the walls... It looked like something had exploded in the lobby!! As for the rooms...They need to be updated!! Old carpeting, outdated bathrooms... UGH!!! I think this is a place where people take their one-night-stands. I never have been disappointed in Comfort Inns, until now!! I think upper management needs to take a visit!! They would be shocked. I will never lodge there again. Sorry to have to post this, but people need to know...
