I've always had pretty decent luck with La Quinta over the years so I expected this would be no different. Stayed at this facility one night prior to a cruise. This place was very sub-average inside and out. The funny thing was the fridge and microwave was plugged into an outlet that was run by a light switch by the door (which also turned on the room lights). Wire panduit run all over the walls in the room, totally trailer fabulous! Building code inspector would have a hay-day in this place. But that wasn't my biggest concern, upon arriving I took note that the facility sat next to an IHOP. IHOPs being 24 hour operations have a tendency to attract drunks in the late hours, but being this was a Sunday night this shouldn't be a issue. HOW WRONG I WAS! Clubs let out at 3AM and every gang-banger in Tampa made their way to the IHOP. Stereos blarring to unbelievable levels. Needless to say that was the end of that night, no cooperation from the Tampa Police either! Morning didn't fair any better. So called free breakfast was so deplorable a stray dog wouldn't eat it! No worry, I have an IHOP next door (be for real like I would eat there after the nights ordeal).

I love where this hotel was situated. close to a mall,the airport and other activities. the rooms were a bit on the small side, but they were pretty clean. the hotel overall was very clean. the breakfast was decent. what i really disliked was that we could not find parking near our room. our entire stay we had to park on the opposite side of the hotel away from our room. But i would go back if the opportunity arise.

Rooms okay, nothing special, okay for the money, justed needed bed and shower close to airport. Shuttle schedule is wacked

There is NO elevator so if you cannot walk upstairs, be sure to mention that in your reservation for a ground floor room. Stayed here the night before our cruise. The shuttle picked us up at the airport in 10 minutes and delivered us to the hotel in about 10 minutes. They let us check in at 10am which was really great! They offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal for $10 per person and you can even reserve a shuttle with them from the cruise terminal to the airport in advance for $10 per person. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was a nice, continental breakfast. You are within easy walking distance to a huge mall with plenty of places to eat, shop and enjoy. No complaints!
