Very happy with our stay at Howard Johnson's. Hotel was clean and pleasant looking. Room was very clean and well maintained. Beds were great to sleep in. Had one small problem with the AC fan squeaking. Made a call to the front desk and to our suprise it was handled immediately. It is located on a busy street, but could hear nothing from our room. There are plenty of restaurants around and other places one might need when traveling. I couldn't be happier that I chose this hotel.

This Howard Johnson Inn is located on a very busy street in South Tampa, but it is a bright, quiet spot. There is a lovely pool, a free breakfast, a small workout room, the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the folks at reception were friendly. There are numerous restaurants nearby, and MacDill AFB is very close by. It's definitely a great value as well as a nice place to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised with the way the room looked and smelled when we arrived. It was clean and very well kept. I couldn't have asked for a better room for the price. And the onsite breakfast was a huge plus since I had business to attend in downtown Tampa. The staff was helpful with times to leave the hotel inorder to avoid traffic delays. It was a great stay. I was so impressed that I left a tip for the individual that cleaned the room. Great job! I look forward to staying in another Howard Johnson Express soon.

I stayed at this hotel about 15 years ago and what a HUGE improvement from then! The hotel is updated and clean. The staff friendly and the beds very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality compared to the price.
