I stayed here with my brother a single night on his 40th birthday to go to a hockey game at the arena. The location is perfect as is the happy hour with complimentary beer/wine. The food in the restaurant was pretty good as well, and the breakfast in the morning hit the spot. What's leaving a sour taste in my mouth is upon checkout, I left my ipad and a toiletry bag in the room by mistake. I did not discover I left it behind until I realized it was not in my only carry-on bag flying back to NC. I called later that night, and was transferred to the head of housekeeping who said nothing had been found. The following day, my brother called and was told a toiletry bag was found, but of course not the $500 ipad. I could not get a manager to call me back, either. I realize I was careless by leaving it behind, but why is it that hotels protect their staff stealing other people's property? If you walked into my office and left your computer, I'm not going to just ignore the situation. I expected a manager to question the maid on duty who cleaned my room. If any employees at the hotel are congratulating a fellow employee on a nice new black 16 gig ipad2 WiFi with grey flip case and serial number DLXF99H9DFHW, do yourself a favor and call the Tampa District 3 police for me. I filed a report with them and will give you a $200.00 reward. Thanks for the most expensive one night stay ever.

Normally I never sleep well at a hotel because of the hallway noise. As the "living room" is at the front near the hallway traffic we slept really well for all 6 nights. The upside : Very nice outside, great location to trolley to Ybor City, across street to Convention Centre, Great Buffet breakfast daily,nice staff. The evening free reception of cocktails/munchies is a very nice touch. The downside: room not usually made up until 2:30 p.m or 3 p.m. each day, buffet while very good -always the same from fruit to meats to cereal. We would gladly stay there again.

Just finished spending the weekend celebrating Gasparilla, and the highlight of the weekend was this hotel. Yes, I made my reservations in September because of the popularity of this celebration, and I was certainly not let down. This is one of the premier properties in the Hilton chain that I have been too. Everything from parking (all valet), to maid staff, to all concierge dealings was top notch. Everyone was checking out yesterday morning, I called down for bell service and had someone at my door within 8 minutes, that's better than any other hotel I've been to in a long time. We will be back next year, this is a great place!!!

My $260 a night room was not worth it. I'm a Silver Elite member and was not given amenities or service. Jessica at the front desk is rude and will make sure your stay is unpleasant. She downgraded the room I was promised so I changed it the next day with a friendlier desk clerk to the upgraded room.
Houskeeping used the wrong sheets two days, forgot towels the next and today no coffee or TP.
No pool towels yesterday and no burgers available on Sunday because they didn't have bread!
Rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet. Cocktails and breakfast are included in your $260 rate.
For the $1000 bill I should have stayed at the Marriott across the street.
