This hotel is well-managed and delivered good value for the money. As mentioned in some other reviews, it does have a problem with its furniture being worn out. However, we brought the issue to the attention of Donald, the manager, and he was all over it and had us moved to a different suite in no time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the ladies who run the breakfast buffet to the maintenance folks. One morning, the hotel ran out of newspapers and the front desk attendant gave me hers. I stay at a lot of hotels, and the service here from the manager on down was like what I see at much more expensive properties.

If you need to be near Raymond James Stadium, this is a great location, it's a little over a mile from the stadium, and across from the International Plaza, a great mall with Cheesecake Factory.
The furniture in the room seemed worn, and not very comfortable. It did have a full size refrigerator and mini-kitchen. The bed comfort was ok, not great. Breakfast was only served until 9 am, and no hospitality hour during the weekend.

This property is very convenient to the airport and the International Plaza mall. Breakfast is great and the evening socials provide an opportunity for a free dinner Monday-Wednesday (one entree, salad, and bread served buffet style). The pool area is clean and inviting, as is the hot tub. I stayed one night in a two-bedroom suite with several friends and a second night in a studio suite. Both options were spacious and nicely decorated. There was some street noise on the Lois Avenue side of the building, so would suggest that you request a pool view.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to include a Tampa Bay Bucanneers game - 4 adults in a 2 bedroom suite. The suite was effectively 2 complete bedrooms - each en suite + a lounge/kitchen. This was great for us as we had taken this as a side trip from villa accomodation in Orlando so brought drinks and snacks with us. Buffet breakfast was a bonus as was the 24 hour coffee in lobby. Comfortable and safe 25 minute walk to stadium and with the excellent Leroy Selmon's restaurant just across the car park and the shopping mall just down the road this ticked all the boxes for us.
