We stopped in Tampa on the way to a cruise - this was a great choice, well priced, large rooms, quiet setting, close to two of Tampa's largest shopping malls, and the airport. A shuttle service brought us and picked us up at the malls. There is a nominal charge for the shuttle to the cruise terminal - not the case of some other hotels, however this hotel is not close to the cruise port etc.

Restaurant is good for a hotel restaurant - my only complaint was an iron in the room that had black fabric stuck to it - I didn't see it and ruined a white shirt. Lesson is always check the iron first in hotels before using it on your clothes....

Staff is superb - very helpful, cheerful and eager to accommodate and help guests. Downside is that the hotel is not located close to too much in close walking distance - remember its near the airport, so the shuttle, cab or rental car will be important if you want to get around.

Gym space is good but very warm (it overlooks the indoor pool). Overall good value, great Sheraton beds, would happily stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport. on Jan. 30th. The suite was spacious. Their convenient shuttle not only took us to and from the airport but also took us to a restaurant that was within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Never had to wait long for it.
My 2 negative comments was that we KNOW we left our tooth brush charger in the hotel bathroom and when I called the next day, I was told it was never found. I suspect it was thrown away.
Also, we were able to get into our room by 1:00 but my son and his wife checked in about 3:00 but his room wasn't ready until about 4:30. He was told it would only take a little while but it took much longer than that.

Stayed here with my sister for one night on our way to cruise. Hotel lobby is gorgeous..but rooms still needed some updates and repairs. Bathroom cabinet was broke and came off when we touched it..also shower could use some updated tile and regrouting. Disappointed that for the price $150.00+ Internet was not free in room. Very helpful staff and our shuttle driver was fantastic!

Have stayed here before after flying in from UK. An ideal stop over before collecting the car the following day to drive south.
Courtesy shuttle to and from the airport , arrives and leaves every 30 minutes.
