My family and i stayed at this Hotel from may 21st through to the 26th. I heard of dirty hotels before but this one was filthy.we had a room on the second floor # 210 2 queen size bed and a pull out sofa with a kitchen which we needed since it was four of us.The first problem ,it is 2 hotel with one lobby so it was confusing to find the mainstay entrance sure enough the staff does not tell you anything. we found our room and unload. the first thing we noticed was the gullies in both beds and the dirty floors ,microwave coffe maker and bathroom sink i mean that these were filthy.The pull out sofa had a stain as if it was blood .we went to the lobby and ask the attendant about someone cleaning up the place and possible changing the mattresses .someone did go in and clean the microwave but not the coffe pot.we had to put the pillows under the matress on both beds to raised them out of the holes.the next day they gave us the keys to 2 more empty suites #209 and one on the 3rd floor they were all the same beds were horrible. the attendants in the lobby are always on there cellphone with personal calls you have to wait for them to recognise you. when we came home at nights it was fearful of turning the lights on because of the roaches were all over the kitchen counter.i killed 2 on friday night and they were still laying on the floor when we left there tuesday morning. the housekeeping staff is horrible and doesnt speak english.you could not get linen blankets and towels.for the money we payed to stay at mainstay the service should have been better.i do not and would not recommend it to anyone.

the first night stay was bad dirty room . roaches walking on walls ,went down to desk and was given attitude as if i brought them thier . the second night came back from dinner turn on lights roaches all over garbage bags left out side by elevator went down to have my foom changed spoke to front desk about having someone pick up garbage and was told no one here to do that . bags were thier for 1 1/2 days , no wonder thier are roaches in rooms . learned my lesson it pays to pay more for a better place than have to give my hard earned money to these type of place's. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
when got back to my car in airport took out my belongings and threw out my luggage as to not bring any unwanted things home.

We stayed here for a few nights with a small child and the one bedroom suite was perfect. We had booked a rate of 75,99 + tax which we thought was good value since the room had a decent size bedroom, two TV's and kitchen. The furniture was old and could be replaced, the couch wasn't spotless but for this money we didn't complain. Later on I saw the same rooms for over 150,00: I would not want to pay that much money for the room though. It was reasonbly clean and the breakfast was nice, the pool very warm, the hot tub HOT. On our first night they put us in a one room suite at Comfort Suites (they're adjacent) but this was noisier, dirtier and not as pleasant as Mainstay Suites. It did get busy with big groups of school kids staying at the hotel but this wasn't an issue for us.

A friend and I stayed for one night prior to a cruise. We found the rooms to be clean and spacious for the two of us. I would definately stay here again if in the area for any reason (such as a future cruise).

The breakfast buffet was adequate, and just what we needed to get our day started, pre-cruise. As is usual in most hotels, the room was smallish, and filled up fast. However, the fare was ample, and kept filled.

If I had a complaint it would be that there was no phone book in the room, and the personel on the desk was rather curt about this. I had to go to the desk just to look up a phone number I needed.

If you plan your routes, getting to and from the hotel is not too much of a problem, even though it is a bit farther out. We arrived at the hotel within 25 minutes of leaving the Airport. We also ventured out (in a strange area, and with a strange vehicle) the evening we stayed, and drove to the Bahia Cabana (Resort) Restuarant without any problem.

Check in and check out were without hassle or incidence.
