Stayed at this location out of necessity -- football weekend at FSU and every motel and hotel within 30 miles is jam-packed full. At our previous visit, the motel was in much better shape. La Quinta has been advertising that the rooms are all redecorated. Did they put all the money into the TVs? Because that was the only item in the room that wasn't old and worn. The blanket was revolting; there was mold around the tub and big smears of what I hope was dirt, on the bathroom door. Reclining char was falling apart. And this was the improved room. We asked to move because the first room was even filthier with stained carpet, more mold and a dirty bathroom floor. I can tolerate a mediocre motel but when I'm paying through the nose on football weekend ($139 a night), I expect better quality. Breakfast was picked over, no coffee, no spoons, no napkins, no fruit. To their benefit, the front desk staff was very nice. Management definitely needs to step in and supervise housekeeping

We stayed at this Hotel for four nights. The staff were very accomidating and friendly, couldn't do enough to help. The room was clean and tidy, NO bugs. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was basic, but we only paid 50 dollas a night for two people. I was very happy with the service and accomadation. It was 3 miles from the Capitol, we walked, but there is a bus service if needed. Plenty of restaurants nearby to suit any taste and pocket. If we were to visit Tallahassee again we would deffinatly stay at this hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't eat the breakfast. There are many restaurants in close proximity and a mall very close by.

From the road it looked nice - inside - curtains were falling off the wall, sheers were waded with hem coming out - walls had terrible patch jobs where repairs had been made, holes in shower curtain, carpet torn and frayed, cigarette burned shelf for bath towels, new clothes tag plastic behind bathroom door from previous guest . At 4:06 am either the dumpster was being dumped or road construction but definately didnt get to sleep thru the night. Clean sheets and towels were a plus! Nice location just could use some attention.
