Did not prebook this motel. Found there was plenty of room at this time of the year. Very pleasantly surprised with this motel. My wife had reservations at staying at this Howard Johnson because of a bad experience a few years ago at another Howard Johnson. This room was very clean. In fact the whole property was very well taken care of considering its an older property. The service at the desk was prompt. Good wifi, fridge, and microwave. We received a great breakfast with hot waffles. Would recommend this motel and would stay here again. Thanks ladies.

My stay at this Howard Johnson Express Inn was pleasant and room was nice and clean.The staff was very nice to deal with helpfull.

This is an older "value" type of motel that has been well maintained and very clean. Definitely nothing fancy but I had no complaints. The location is right off the interstate and near many and various restaurants. The people working at the hotel were very nice and helpful. Rates were raised for a football weekend just like very other hotel in town. The complimentary breakfast was average but clean. I have stayed at two other hotels in Tallahassee the last two months in the same price range and this property was far and away superior to those experiences. If you are looking for a motel with price being the primary concern I can highly recommend this property.

Tried to make reservations for nov. 12th....was told I had a room then called back and hotel said that the girl had overbooked and they only had a two night minimum. I have stayed here before but will let my friends know about their ripoff.
