My husband and i stayed at this beautiful hotel on Christmas day. From beginning to end, this was the BEST Wyngate that we stayed at during our entire vacation. From Brandi's friendly greeting when we arrived to her goodbye when we left, our every need was met with sincerity and a smile. The staff is extremely proud of this hotel, and with reason. The hotel has been recently refurbished and it showed. The beds are the GREATEST! In fact, I called two weeks later to find out what brand it was so I could get one! This hotel was extremely clean. The free breakfast is the normal Wyngate breakfast, but the breakfast staff was cheerful and friendly and made sure that our needs were met.

This part of Tallahassee is a little beaten up, but there are a few nice restaurants nearby, It was perfect for us, as we were traveling on I10. It's an easy on and off. I can't say enough about this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

Beat up from the road and flight delays,etc.,walking into this property was the relief I was seeking. Modern, quite, soothing colors, friendly greeting, a good thing. Check in was very smooth, no glitches even with pre-pay. The room was standard, but very nice. Large, clean, well appointed, choice of pillows, new mattresses, mmmmmm! Obviously recently remodeled, everything worked! The AC was cold when needed, both phones worked, no lumps in bed, towels with nap, everything was done right. Although rooms not touted as soundprof, a game had been played nearby, and I was not aware of the revelers on either side of my room. There are several lodging choices on both sides of this property, but this one is worthy of repeat business. Centrally located, no frills breakfast, great service...look no further.

I have seen worse and better. It was clean enough but has some age on it. The receptionist
was very nice and looked great. This would be a decent deal at 60-70$ Dont pay much more.
Tallahassee has some junky motels so this is a better choice than all of those. Lots of food on the main strip. Miles of it.

Recently my husband made reservations for some friends of ours and us for an stay while attending an FSU football game. He made the reservations far in advance for two rooms exactly alike. Our rooms were the same two queen size beds rooms. Upon checking out we paid $190. and our friends paid 120.00. These were the same reservations made at the same time for the rooms. When questioned, we were told that the computers were down and the manager would call us on Monday. She did not. Several days later I called and left two messages, but she returned neither of those calls. Finally my husband called and got to speak to Sylvia Wong and was told that the reason for the rate difference our friends were given a handicapped room. We did not request a handicapped room and if you go online and look at the rates there is no difference in price. Evidently, on a ball game weekend, however, there is a $70.00 difference. Another lady that was checking out at the same time was charged $130.00 for the night. The manager had a snotty attitude and was a poor reflection on the hotel. We will never stay in another Wingate Inn and I advise great caution to anyone who doesn't wish to be ripped off.
