Having recently stayed in several Homewood Suites, we were disappointed to see how rundown this property was. The carpet was old and coming up in some places. The furnishings were also a bit tired.
Also, the property is a good 15 minutes off I10, so if you are just passing through, this isn't the most convenient location.
There are some positive aspects, the property is pet friendly, breakfast is included with the price of the room, and internet is free.

I thought this Homewood Suites would be a little more upscale than it was. The hotel was in kind of a "U" shape and made it hard to find your way around. Also, when you got off of the elevator there were no signs telling you which way to go for the room number. The room was nice, but there was no blanket on the bed, which meant that you had to sleep under the heavy comforter or just a sheet. I found a zippered plastic bag of linens in the closet for the fold out sofa and there was a blanket in there, so we used it. I guess if you had someone using the sofa, you would have to do without. I was also disappointed in the breakfast, I thought it would be nicer as well.

This place is amazing! I'm a flight attendant and we stay everywhere and I've never had such a great experience. They really CARE about you and your stay here. The Management is always out in the lobby interacting with every customer unlike most where the hotel manager is behind a door somewhere never to be seen. These guys are out there interested in making your stay better, easier, more comfortable. They go sassan over and above anything I've ever experienced. I highly recommend this place. Clean. Large rooms, comfortable bed, can't say enough!

Got a nice one bedroom suite for the same price of a room at the place across the way. Very clean, pleasant staff.
Breakfast buffet was not that good.Soggy danish, greasy sausage.Even the juice was watered down. If I had an extended stay I would have bought groceries and made my own in the room. .
No vending machines and "gift shop" has poor selection. Luckily the CVS is a five minute walk and we got our snacks and drinks for our room.
Pool was decent enough. Advertised as heated, but was cold in the morning/early afternoon. I'd stay again if the price was right.
