I recently stayed one night at this motel from hell and I would never go back there again. I called the day of arrival to verify room rates and to see if they had a pool and I was told it was 59 to 69 dollars a night and they did have a pool. When I got to the motel, I walked in and got my room and was trying to think optimistically because honestly the outside was not nice looking at all. We checked into our room and the pillows were paper thin, the bed had burn holes all over the sheets and the comforter. I tried to ignore that and decided I wanted to go swimming and try to relax. When I went to the pool, the gate was locked and I went to office and asked if the clerk could open it and his response was "Well I rather not have anybody swim in the pool because I have to clean it tomorrow and I don't want it to get any dirtier." At this point I was very confused because I was never told we wouldn't be able to use the pool, that was one of the reasons I wanted to stay there. The clerk ended up opening the gate to the pool but he had a major attitude about it and stated that the owner told him specifically not to let anyone use the pool. What kind of crap is that? This dump charges $69.00 bucks a night and they won't even let you use the pool? I was so disappointed. Overall, the room was nasty and the two men I encountered who worked there were very rude. I would never recommend this motel to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
